The boys are doing their job in the Christmas Eve donut tradition. We enjoy this treat for days after Christmas. I let donuts be breakfast, snacks and just about anything in between.
The boys always open one present on Christmas Eve and it is always new pajamas. Declan was disappointed. He wanted something more exciting. I explained to him that jammies are a tradition! Maybe next year they can open 2 presents.

We enjoyed our evening of traditions from donuts to clam chowder to the boys puppet show of the first Christmas and the reading of the story from the Bible. The only thing we forgot to do was call Grandpa Madsen for the singing of Deck us all with Boston Charlie!
