I just returned from my monthly adventure at SAM'S CLUB! The car parked next to me had many bumper stickers on it so right off we know they are liberals. One among them was an Obama sticker. The one that caught my attention said "Boycott Wal-Mart" Duh. As I said, brilliant people support Obama.
Magic erasers that made my white doors and baseboards look decent. Now I don't feel like I will have to repaint them when the time comes to sell the house. Check that project off the list!
I had grand visions of potty training Waverly back in the fall when the boys headed back to school. I got lazy and did not want to deal with the hassel of it, so I did not. I even talked to Tam about the miracle 3 day system she used for Nicco and really considered paying $35 to read about how to potty train a kid despite having accomplished the task 4 previous times. This was in November and I decided I would wait until January after the holidays to deal with this. Thanksgiving week I put her in panties and never looked back. She only had one little accident ever! I can take her anywhere and not even worry about it. She is really good at telling me when she needs to go potty and unlike her mother, can pee on demand! She does wear diapers at nap time and bed time, so I guess I am not totally diaper free, but I am darn close! She is very picky about which pair of panties she puts on in the morning. It drives me crazy! She lost a lot of girth when she stopped wearing diapers so now pants that used to fit fall off. She has a tiny bum and the smallest panties are too big. I am sure that problem won't last forever! She is the first one of all the church kids around her age that has potty trained. She has encouraged her friend Emma, so now there are two of them. She was the easiest of them all. I love not dealing with diapers and diaper bags. One big milestone of babyhood gone forever, and that is ok with me!
